Kudüs, Jerusalem, Al-Quds, Yerushalayim
I read in Wikipedia that Jerusalem which means 'Kudüs' in Turkish is used in Arabic as 'Al-Quds' and in Hebrew as 'Yerushalayim'. In Arabic, it means 'The Holiness' and in Hebrew it means 'City of Peace'. I just wonder if there is any other city in the world witnessing such events that contradicts with the meaning of its name that much...

About Jerusalem Jerusalem came from teh root word "jeru" and salem".jeru means Foundation and Salem meand peace. As of the the daily tribune and CNN, the meaning of Jerusalem is ironic. Jerusalem being the capital of Israel and the Israeli continues to war against the Palestine. I believe that the God of Abrahan, Isaac and Moses will fulfill the meaning of Jerusalem. As per the Christian Bible in the book of Revelation, a symbol has been manifested the New Jerusalem coming our of heaven from God adorn as a bride ready to get wed to a husband. As per Christian prophesy time will come of the total peace that every mankind and political party aspires. I believe the commence of that peace will be the entering of a peace treaty of Israel with the Palestine. However that will be the start of the last 7 years of the world. Anyway this is just a belief of mine. It might not be applicable to you and I respect that. Thanks!
